It is designed with an original patch with the initial D of DOG attached, and can be adjusted with the adjuster on the leather belt.

The lining is lined with an interlining called fur core.
In those days when there were no synthetic fibers available, baseball caps were lined with this interlining made of horse tail hair or deer hair in order to make the fabric hard and strong.
